The members of La Xicoia Gastronomy Association are restaurant professionals who wish to popularise the attractions and features of Pallars Sobirà County cuisine, with the accent placed on mountain products.

The association was set up in 2003. It organises an annual Gastronomic Rally, with traditional dishes and innovative proposals offered by the member restaurants, complemented by promotional and educational activities.

The Rally programme also includes cooking competitions. The “Xicoia d’Or” prizes are awarded for outstanding food products, popular personalities from all over Spain, and exceptional culinary careers.
