How to get there

The Catalan Pyrenees can be reached by road (car, motorbike, taxi or bus), by train, or by plane.

 

BY ROAD

The extensive road network in the area enables visitors to travel around easily.

BY TRAIN

High Speed Trains (AVE or TGV) run to Barcelona, Lleida and Girona, from where you can continue to the Pyrenees by private vehicle or public transport.

Other railway options include the Barcelona-Puigcerdà and Barcelona-Portbou lines (Renfe) and the Lleida-La Pobla de Segur line (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

There are many ways of reaching the Pyrenees by public transport. Several bus companies service the territory, and a large intercity bus network operates between the different counties.
