Port Ainé: a morning to start skiing

The Pallars ski resort and mountain has an Adventure Park in the Trees within its Adventure and Leisure Park. Log escalators at a height of 7 m, a Tibetan bridge, zip lines... These are just some of the elements of the circuit that kids aged 7 and over and measuring at least 1.20 m can enjoy when accompanied by an adult. The park includes a wide range of safety measures.

You’ll also find a children’s area, Miniclub Port Ainé, located at the Hotel Port Ainé 2000***. There, children aged 2 to 6 can enjoy fun and games, accompanied by qualified supervisors, while you ski non-stop. It’s a space designed to develop creativity and imagination through guided activities such as symbolic games, games of skill, and much more. The Miniclub is open from 9.30am to 3pm and from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on weekends and public holidays. Please check availability during the week.

Remember that in towns such as Rialp or Sort you will find restaurants and accommodation to complete your winter getaway.

 

Espot: many options to play in the snow

 

Espot, as well as Pallars, has the privilege of being located next to the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici Natural Park. Visiting the resort means you can also enjoy this natural space of great beauty. If you visit with children, take advantage of the Espot Leisure Park, which includes a tubbing track, a toboggan run and a snow garden with educational material, psychomotor games and rest areas.

This season the resort has a new tubbing track in the beginner area. It has a length of 140 meters, a boarding area, two ramps and an arrival area with a counterslope and carpets to facilitate braking. It can be enjoyed by children from one meter tall or over 4 years of age when accompanied by an adult, and anyone else weighing no more than 100kg.

Family fun continues beyond skiing. Espot is located in the Valls d’Àneu, one of the destinations of the Catalan Pyrenees, and has the Family Tourism seal of the ACT. This means that you will find endless activities suitable for the younger ones. The certified accommodations also have the welfare of the little ones in mind, with an offer of equipment and activities to make life easier and more comfortable for families.

 

 

Boí-Taüll: combine skiing with cultural activities

The Leisure Area at Boí-Taüll is ideal for our younger guests. It is a space created for the enjoyment of children and their families. It includes a childcare service and a snow park.

If you know Vall de Boí already, you’re likely to know about its cultural offer, thanks to the Romanesque heritage that is concentrated there. But it has another side that will interest you: it’s also well suited to families, and this corner of the Pyrenees is also certified as a family destination. An ideal way to combine family and culture is with dedicated activities Storytellers and legends of the Vall de Boí. These are small-scale excursions designed to help guests discover the valley while listening to ancient legends of fantastic and mythological beings from the Catalan Pyrenees.

 

 

Masella: when night falls, the skiing begins

The Cerdanya resort is also certified with the Family Tourism seal. It enjoys a long-standing tradition of supporting night-time skiing, but that doesn't stop it from still attracting attention! Your children will love sliding and skidding on the snow under the moonlight and soaking up the exciting atmosphere.

Masella also hassnow garden for children aged 3 to 6 where they can learn to ski. If they are younger, between 18 months and 3 years, they can play in the Children’s Playhouse, part of the facilities of the Masella Ski School. Both services operate on weekends and public holidays.

To enjoy all the family activities in Masella, your best bet is to spend the night in the area. Accommodation is available at the foot of the piste, as well as hotels, apartments, campsites and rural houses in the surrounding towns.
